Tuesday March 16, members of the 13 Pro Community Outreach Committee visited the veterans at VA Medical Center and the VA Nursing Home. 

Our group brought newspapers (courtesy of The Southern Illinoisan), items from Shawnee Alliance for Seniors and thank you cards from 13 Pro.  It was so rewarding to visit with the veterans and thank them for their service!  We had many interesting conversations!

In each future 13Pro Monthly newsletter, we will provide a "Member of the Month" segment in which we will highlight an active member, where they work, what they do and what brought them to 13Pro. This piece will provide a great chance to get to know other members and to increase awareness of an individual as well as their business or organization at no cost!  It's also a great way to say "thank you" to the people who give their time and resources to the organization.
